On Thursday, January 17, 2019, SECRETBURGER.com presented Chef Vincent Rotolo’s #OffTheMenu Porchetta with Poached Pears and Polenta at Good Pie in Las Vegas.
We asked Chef Rotolo tell us the story behind the dish and he said, This is the recipe I learned from my uncle. He learned this recipe from my grandmother. We made this every year during the holidays and it brings back a sense of family and tradition for me. This version is a wrapped pork belly around a loin.
SECRETBURGER.com diners didn't stop with the Porchetta. They also ordered house slices like the Good Pep and Good Shroom, plus we saw a few orders of meatballs and knots meatballs floating around the tables.
One SECRETBURGER.com diner said, “I love Good Pie! I grew up in Jersey and Queens, and my Aunt used to make something like this Porchetta for Christmas. You can really taste the heart and soul in this dish! You can tell they know their stuff and truly care.”
